In the Wraithwood, folk whisper fearfully of faceless, skeletally thin beings dressed in finery. If one of these creatures sees you, they will pursue you relentlessly until they kill you before the next full moon rises. It is said the only way to appease a gaunt is to offer up your own child, who is then doomed to become a gaunt themselves.

Lions are large, predatory felines adept at waiting in ambush to stalk their prey. This stigma can also be used for tigers, panthers, leopards, and similar beasts.

Monstrosity: Seamripper

Seamrippers only purpose in life is to rip and tear Riven apart. They were originally created by druids of Antasia in an attempt to rid the world of the unnatural abominations of Riven. These creatures only appear when Riven are near for this exact reason.

Zombies are simple undead created by reanimating fresh corpses. Most sport grotesque wounds, sallow skin, and the pungent odor of decay. Their slow reflexes and dim intelligence make them little threat individually, a disadvantage necromancers usually offset through sheer numbers.
